Ethan Thomas Abraham 9/24/06

When Ethan was 3 months old I took him to see the newest Rocky Balboa movie (2006). We were down in Texas for Christmas and my family has always been huge Rocky fans....well when we were little, we thought it was way cool! (the 80's) Anyway so as a family we all went to go see the newest. This was a scary thing to do with a 3 month old baby. I have tried to take little Ethan to movies before with NO SUCESS> which is understandable. HOWEVER this movie as soon as the theme music began this little boy couldn't take his eyes off of the movie. Ha ha, I don't know why, maybe he liked the music, maybe he liked the action? who knows. But everytime this theme music came on he loved it and got all excited and waves his arms around. ha ha you know how little babies do. Anyway so my little sister Caitlin made up this really cute song to the theme song of Rocky that my family all knows about. It's the Efy-Tom theme song. Ha ha so that explains the theme music for my post. ha ha! If you're a Carver I know you are just cracking up right now. ha ha Just figured I would explain the 80's theme music ha ha.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ETHAN!!!!

(Let me just say my computer kept dying in the process of this post and so it took forever to finish. So with that being said I hope everyone can look past the short description of this post. It's a birthday party, just have fun and look at the pictures. It's mostly for Grandma's and Grandpa's anyway!!!)

This year for Ethan's party we did a SPIDERMAN PARTY!!!!!!!! (the most recent interest) Last year it was a Superman party, this year we're moving on to Spiderman! We had so much fun planning the party, Ethan and I. It was our little Mother & Son project. It took a lot of preparation. Nathan and I decided b-days are going to be a big thing for our family. When I was little my mom would always throw these really cute themed parties and when I was a mommy I wanted to do the same. So in short let me just say lots of shopping, baking and more shopping.........we finally got it done. Ha ha. We had so much fun with all of Ethan's friends who came to help us celebrate. Thank you to all of our wonderful friends for coming and for the great presents.

We had a fun little family party on Ethan's birthday (Thursday) We took him over to good old Chuck-E-Cheese. We all had fun!

Then on Saturday we had the big party!!!

A couple of the games we played were pin the spider on the web & attack the bad guys with silly string. Ha ha thanks to Ben and Nathan for being the bad guys. (We picked up a few scary masks at Walmart.)

We sang happy Birthday to Ethan had some yummy cake (my attempt to make a spider and web) NO LAUGHING!!! There were also cupcakes and fun little chocolate spider snacks that the kids loved.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ETHAN, WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH! WE FEEL SO BLESSED TO HAVE YOU IN OUR FAMILY!!!!
