5 Year Anniversary

What we've learned in the last 5 years :
(Nathan's helping with this post.
He likes to keep things short and sweet,
so here we go!)
1-All you need is love,(money helps)
2-Men & Women are definitely different
3-You can't take your kids to a movie
4-Who really gets a date night once a week
5-I wouldn't change any of it for the world
6-I married the best wife/mother anyone could hope for
Love you Nicole
That's Nathan's version of what he's learned the last 5 years.
Here's mine:
In short-
Everyone should and hopefully does marry their sweetheart. I know I have. Not to say things are always perfect, they're not. BUT I do know that I wouldn't want to try with anyone else. I don't want to really get into it b/c if I start I guarantee it will be an endless post. Let me just say I know I married my sweetheart and even though life will throw hard times at you, sometimes really hard times, I'm so happy that I have such a wonderful man in my life to share it with. Nathan is a wonderful husband and father. He is the love of my life and I'm so happy I have him to spend life & eternity with.
I'm excited for the next 5 and the next 5 after that and so on and so on.
I love you Nathan, Happy 5 yr. Anniversary

A pretty Sunday

Today (Sunday) we had such beautiful weather. Utah just won't make up her mind on what kind of weather we're going to have. One day cool, beautiful & sunny the next covered in snow.
Well today was a pretty day. We decided to take a little walk to get some fresh air. The girls dressed up matching in red. Nicole really loves having a little girl so she has to dress up her doll to match her, ha ha. They have lots of fun. Here's a few of our pictures of enjoying nature we wanted to share.......

Here's also one of a cool car we saw on our walk, Ethan wanted to take a picture of him by it so he could show Grandpa A.

Today we were also able to go visit some family. A cousin from the Abraham side just got home from his mission to Oklahoma. We had a fun time visiting. Ethan had a good time playing with 2nd cousins. Here's Jeffrey enjoying himself with them-playing candy land.

Here's a priceless picture of Nathan and his dad's brothers. Older brother Larry and younger brother Allan. We always love to go visit them, it's the next best thing to Michael. We got our lesson on foreign exchange and not paying taxes. Larry's always trying to convince us that we shouldn't pay taxes......I don't know about that.

Daddy day off

Today Nathan was off so we decided to have a little fun. We took Ethan out to Krispy Kreme. He had a great time with daddy today. We then took him to the mall to play around and to end with a movie. Ethan and his daddy are best buds. It's so cute to watch him, you can tell he wants to be just like daddy.

Priceless, I love my tough boys.

Abraham cousins / Ethan's egg hunt

Eggciting Easter

Easter morning was so exciting! Ethan is starting to understand the fun part of the Easter holiday a little more this year. As far as the significance of it spiritually we're still working on that......maybe next year he'll be able to grasp it a little better. Here's a cute little video of Ethan discovering what the Easter bunny left for us.

We were also so exciting to see cousins Rachel and Joshua this year for Easter (Adam & Thomalee, Nathan's bros. children). Ethan and Shelby had so much fun playing and getting to visit with them. Rachel and Ethan especially had fun coloring eggs, an Easter tradition. We also welcomed them to our place for lunch and a little time to visit. Thanks for fitting us into your busy schedule guys! We had a lot of fun, it was so good to see y'all :)
