Over the river and through the woods....(more adventures in Texas)

To Grandmother's house we go....

We were so excited to pay a visit to Grandma & Grandpa Abraham. They had a yummy meal prepared for us and of course yummy dessert (which is the important part) Blue Bell ice cream! Thank you for the warm welcome and good food !

Thank you Grandma for all of the wonderful birthday presents for Ethan. It was nice to be able to celebrate his birthday with Grandma & Grandpa!!!

Shelby loves her new toys too! And mommy LOVES the boots you got her- so cute!

Ethan loves his long horns hat- just like daddies! We loved the little party you had for him, it was so thoughtful! Thank you :)

We also got to have some cousin time with Jackson & Colin (Jared & Jamie's kids-Nathan's bro)

Jackson is 4, Ethan is 3 (they are about 18 months apart) and Shelby and Colin are almost 11 months- little less than a week apart.

Shelby loved grandpa's beard. She's really into touching faces.....which can be quite ticklish

Cousin play time

We love you Grandma & Grandpa thank you for the wonderful time!!!! We'll miss you, please come up to visit whenever you can!

first things first.....GIRLS NIGHT

During our visit in Texas I made sure to have a girls night out. So thank you to Papa & Ryan for watching the children. Unfortunately Ms. Caitlin wasn't able to come so not all of the Carver girls :( We missed you Cait.

We lived it up in Down-town Ft. Worth- "SUNDANCE" Awesome little place in Texas. Good restaurants, good shops, pretty water gardens and lots more. We enjoyed some good times walking around eating good food and getting my favorite dessert at Uno's, Chocolate peanut butter cup. It's like a Reeces peanut butter cup but quadrupedal in size at least. SOOOOOOOO yummy!

Beautiful mom and sister

Here's my other gorgeous little sis Caity, we sure missed her on our night out :(

Good times!

Salt Lake with Nana & Papa

Here's some more pictures of our visit from Nana & Papa. The kids had so much fun! We just took it pretty easy while they were in Utah, knowing that we would have more in store for us going in to Texas. Nathan helped to push me to go for a visit in Texas..... I say push because any moms know going on any type of vacation without your hubby is tough, especially being really warn out and preg. And to any of you that can do it with ease, props goes to you! More Texas posts will follow.

Like I said while we had Nana & Papa in town we just took it easy. Ethan and Papa were able to carve a pumpkin (as shown in earlier posts). Of course Nana & Nikki had to hit the mall :) Girls will be girls. Anyway we had a great time with them on the visit here are some of our pictures :) P.s. it was really rainy outside so there aren't really pics of us outside. And yes that family pic of us when done in the rain.....not bad.

The fellas

Nikki & folks

We love Nana & Papa

Shelby & Ethan love their Nana

Starting the Halloween Season

I know I'm still way behind on lots of Summer posts that I will still post.....in time-

I had to start a little of the Fall posts. We were so excited to have Papa & Nana come to town!!! They came in for conference like they usually do. Ever since they got in our little kiddos have been SOOOOO happy!!! Especially Ethan. He has been having a blast with Papa Thomas as he refers to him, or Papa Tom for short. I don't know when or why he began that. He must have heard my mom call him Tom, but whatever brought it about he is "PAPA THOMAS". My dad has been such a good sport so far. Ethan is just wearing him out I'm sure but Papa Thomas is hanging on strong. They've been playing hide-n-seek, super-hero games & watching fun movies. Ethan is in heaven!

Here's a few pics of them with their BEFORE and AFTER pumpkin shot.

The BEFORE....

The AFTER....(Shelby joining in on the display of the beautiful pumpkin) (which by the way this is not a sketch my dad just cut it out really quick, we were all amazed....you can tell he's done this before ;)

And the AFTER of Papa Thomas....I think a day full of playing with Ethan has worn him out lol

Ethan's little pumpkin that he's very proud of

More fall pictures and fun to come! We love fall!!!!! Definitely my favorite season!
