Vegas adVenture

We decided to go all out for our Spring Break.
We had been to Vegas 2 or 3 times before but decided
it might be fun to do it as a family this time.
Jared (Nathan's brother) and I talk from time to
time- instant messenger. He had told me that he
had business in Vegas and it just so happened that
it was the same week as Nathan's spring break so we
decided to go all out.
A few years ago we decided to have a tradition to
get together with Jared & Jamie and their kids for
every 4th of July. This will be our 3rd time coming
up this summer. But this year we're going to switch
it up a bit and instead of doing July 4th we'll do a
spring break vacation. So they booked their flights and
we packed the car. The kids did well in the car trip,
better than we expected. We finally get to our place-
the Cancun resort. We loved it. We really lucked out,
we got it for a pretty good deal, I guess considering the
economy, Vegas is more affordable. So we spent a few nights
there and then for financial reasons we decided to bunk up
with Jared & family for Friday, Saturday & Sunday. And since
his company was paying for it we thought it was a good deal.
We had a little trouble at first, their original plan was to
stay at the South Point hotel which was beautiful and huge but
a little too smokey so Jared decided to book us somewhere else.
All in all it all worked out for the best. We had a great time.
Here are some fun pictures and experiences we shared. We loved
spending time with Jared & Jamie and decided for next time since
both of our families are getting bigger maybe from now on we
might just stick to the parents only for vacations. Two toddlers
& two newborns in Vegas didn't quite mix. We'll see what happens
in the future.
(I took so many cute pictures I didn't want to leave any out
so you'll have to excuse my attack of pictures......collage galore)

Here's Nathan & Jared with their two little ones & also
E-tom and Jackson. Jackson's got the pretty light blue
eyes and blonde hair whereas Ethan's got the dark brown
eyes and more of a sandy blonde/ light brown hair.
The little babies I can't tell yet. Shelby's eyes do
look similar to how Ethan's were at this age so maybe
they'll be brown as well.....time will tell.

Here's the Cancun resort. It was very chill there and
relaxed. We loved the pool, including 6 pretty sweet
slides. Nathan and I were able to take a couple of
turns on them. Shelby loves baths as I'm assuming all
babies do so she loved the pool water. Check out
little Miss in her matching swim suit and bonnet.
This was one of our favorite parts or Vegas, I'm
sure the kids as well.

This one was tons of fun, Excalibur. We went to
a special Knight/horse fighting show, similar to
Medieval Times place, Ethan just loved it. We enjoyed it
too, it was so realistic, the stunts were pretty cool!

The best part or our trip was The Phantom of the Opera at
the Venetian. To those of you who have seen the movie and
enjoy the music you have GOT to go to the live performance.
It was incredible to say the least. We love the music and
have been so excited to see it and we finally were able to
go, thanks to Jared and Jamie (babysitting). They were also
able to take a date out on the town as well. They hit the
Titanic exhibit which we'd like to see some time also.
The special effects in the Phantom were unbelievable.
We loved all of the singers and could not get enough of it.
What a incredible experience we will never forget.
(Unfortunately for the Phantom and Excalibur we weren't
allowed to take pictures or else I would post some.)

M&M factory, yummy!!!!

Here's the shark reef at the Mandalay Bay.

Here's a few pictures of our beautiful children. Do we
all have good-lookers or what? (Of course I am biased)
Ethan and Jackson had a great time together. Ethan just
loved Jackson, they are about a year and a half apart.
Ethan is just very loving to everyone, anyone who's little
is his best friend. I think Jackson might have had a
different plan for somethings, Ethan was fine with whatever
Jackson wanted. ha ha I'm sure it must have been similar
to how Nathan & Jared were as boys. ha ha Jackson kept
declaring to Ethan that he was his boss, he even put him
in time out a few times, face in the corner and all.
But Ethan's a tough guy, he bounced right back and just
did his own thing.
Shelby & Colin were easy though, they are 10 days apart,
but pretty different in size, she's more of a little lady
and he is a tough guy. You can tell he's going to grow up
and be a hot stud. It reminds me so much of Ethan as a baby.
Just a chubby rolly cuddler. I know I must have annoyed
Colin holding him and cuddling him so much, what a cutie!

Jared & Jamie we had a great time. Thanks for spending so
much money and time on getting together with us. We can't
wait for next year to see what we'll do. We hope it
was worth it to y'all!

Laughs with Lyndsy (Nicole's cousin)

Lyndsy is our permanent babysitter for our kids :)
She is so good with Ethan & Shelby. Ethan always gets
so excited when Lyndsy comes to play and watch him.....
which is always easier to leave him with someone that we
know will play and keep him entertained. Thanks Lyndsy
for being so cute with our kids. (I thought Grandma &
Grandpa Stefan would enjoy watching this clip.)

Good old Wells Fargo....

I'll admit we are true Texans.....BUT since we
are living here we feel a slight obligation to
give Utah a little support. Thanks to Wells Fargo
we were able to go to a Jazz game. It was
Jazz v.s. Houston Rockets. We've been to a
few of their games thanks to Wells. I know
Nathan at times gets frustrated with Wells.....,
it is a job. However will gladly reap the benefits.
A couple of years ago Wells sent us to Disney Land
for free, SOO fun. We've been down to Zermant, Moab
and stayed in a really nice resort and a few other places.
Nathan works really hard at Wells as the Bank Manager,
especially now with the economy so we'll gladly take
the good points of Wells too!!! We had so much fun.
It was nice to be on a date and thanks to my cousin
Lyndsy we were child/worry free for the night!
