MONSTER TRUCKS!!

Ethan and I decided to spend some man time together since our lives have been preoccupied with the new baby. I wasn't sure if Ethan was old enough to enjoy the sweet smell of exhaust, and thundering noise of 1500 horse power engines; but as you can tell you are never to young to appreciate the finer things in life...

Here is the imfamous Grave Digger after an impressive 360 degree spin

This was one of Ethan's favorites, he nicknamed him Clifford.

This was my favorite part, the super cross bikes. I have to pretend I don't like it too much or Nicole gets worried; their mid-air tricks were amazing.

You can't really see what's going on here, but he just finished a jump.

We all know the fate of this orange van...

Even though it was extremely loud and we sat in the highest seats possible (where all of the exhaust fumes collected) we had a great time.

Introducing Linkin Nathan Abraham

I'm sure Nicole will give a much better account, but this will have to do:

Friday night our specialist encouraged us to have the baby a week early to avoid any potential problems with anemia. (Nicole's original due date was Feb. 22 but her dr. had her scheduled to be induced on the 15th so instead of him being 1week early he is 2weeks early.) So Saturday morning at 7:00 we went into the hospital and they began to induce labor. Luckily, Heidi was available to watch the kids for us. The doc broke the water at 10:00 and the baby was born at 12:30. Nicole did a wonderful job. I don't know how anyone survives childbirth. You women are are amazing!!!

Linkin Nathan Abraham was 7.5 lbs and 19 inches. We have been debating the name for a long time now. We were so sure with Ethan and Shelby, but for some reason we've been struggling with this boy's name. We had decided on a few different options. I was convinced it should be Andy and Nicole liked Noah. A few weeks ago we heard the name Lincoln and thought it was pretty cool, however we didn't want him to have to deal with being called Abraham Lincoln his whole life. Still, we liked the name. Finally, we decided to go with it but change the spelling a little bit so that when the teachers are calling roll they will be a little thrown off. Also, I like calling him Link (it sounds tough).

Anyways, enjoy the pictures.
