I was so happy to find out one of best friends was coming into town last week. My friend Missy, her husband Devin and 2 kids- Mack & Molly were visiting Texas! While husband Devin was out with his sister's husband hunting (tough guy) We (me and my 3) were able to visit with Missy and children. We haven't seen each other since before kids & before we each got married too....it had been almost 10 years. TOO LONG
Missy and I go way back- college days- 1999-2001 wow- we are old. We both went to Ricks College, so many years ago. Here we are re-uniting years later and haven't skipped a beat. You know those friends you have where it doesn't matter how long it's been you just pick right up again like old times.
We got caught up on what's been happening the last 10 or so years and then of course reminiced about the old college days. Good times. We had such crazy, fun times together and it was so great to talk about the old days. Good thing we have changed since then. Now here we are mothers and wives. Good thing for friends is all I've got to say ;)
Here our Shelby and Mack- they are about 2 months apart and got along great. Mack is more of a calm guy very sweet and very laid back. Shelby is a sweet quiet girl and likes things to be easy going so her and Mack got along great.
This boy has beautiful, peircing eyes just like his mama. What an easy, happy guy. We loved having him over!
Play time
Of course Ms. Shelby loved having another girl over. Shelby, being stuck between two boys was ready for some girl bonding!
Poor sweet Molly was a little upset and tired....
Shelby was quite concerned .....
Her motherly instincts kicked in and she went in for a kiss to soothe the poor baby. I loved watching her with Molly. Molly was so sweet and tiny, you just forget how little they are when they are so new. Molly was only 5 weeks old. TINY
Of course the boys bonded as well. One chillin' with the ipod and one texting away on his iphone. ha ha. Boys.
good stuff
We loved our visit with y'all. Can't wait til' next year. Love y'all!

I love it! What fun pictures, I love all of them, they captured such a great and fun time. Definitly haven't missed a beat, you are great girl. Mack and Shelby Thompson... LOVE IT. Haha. Put a napkin over it, it is done. Loved college with you such good times and lots of laughs and moments of what were we thinking?! Cold Tomasitos pepperoni and olive pizza? Wish we could go back some days. We will have to look at pictures next time!
LOL I am dying laughing over here Miss! I agree to everything you said. Thanks for the comment. I miss you so much.
That's right- napkin over it til' next year! The husbands come next time :) Those college years were amazing, wouldn't have changed a thing!
