Nana comes to town

We are so thankful my mom was able to fly in to help out with the new addition. When you're younger you just don't realize how much your moms do, you actually don't quite get it til' you are a mom yourself.
My mom actually was in almost the same situation that I'm in. She had 3 close together- Christopher 3yrs old, Me 2 years old and then Carrie was born. Her first two were 15 months apart and my younger two are 14 months apart....pretty close. So she can relate to me. Anyway what a blessing it was for me to have her fly down and the kids LOVED it!

Here are all the girls ready for church :)

Mom with Shelbel & Linkin

Ms. Shelby got pretty attached to her Nana when she was here. As you can see she always had to be with her Nana. She got pretty upset whenever she put her down :(

Of course Shelby wasn't the only one loving Nana's company. Ethan got pretty spoiled too. Nana made sure she made time with Ethan and car time ;) She even introduced him to G.I. Joe which he loves.

More fun time with Nana building race tracks. Thank goodness she still has so much energy to keep up with this guy- I for sure don't have it, not right now anyway.

What Link did most of the time during the visit ;)

Here I am trying to juggle two!!!

Ethan has a pretty good idea of my feelings on the subject ;)

The big helper.

Sweet boy, still with the baby blues.

Love my boys :)

Orginally we were scheduled to have Linkin on the 15th and so mom had a flight coming in on the 14th. Like I said on a previous post doctor's were concerned with Link's blood etc. so we went in on the 6th. ANYWAY so here we are on the 14th I went and picked up mom from the airport on Valentine's day and this is what we came home to. I have such a sweet husband. He had a beautiful Vday set up all ready for us. Shirley temples, shrimp and my favorite Gnnochi (nioki) ( a special Argentine meal he introduced me to when he got home from the mish.)

So yummy!

Ok I know this is a random shot but it was so cute I had to add it to the post. Shelby got all dressed up for Nana, curlers and all. The good old curlers. I have many memories of going to sleep in these things as a little girl. I'm sure my sis remembers too.

Shelby is always a very good sport when I'm doing her hair. She'll just sit there patiently while I do it, wonder how long that will last ;)

Pretty girl!

Ok had to add these shots too. Aren't they cute?

Finally the two make the connection. Shelby helps me like she's the mom too. As a matter of fact she has said her first word- "B A B Y" very clearly.

Priceless!

I always ware curlers growing up, and I hated them in my hair. Your kids are so dang cute.

We enjoyed all the pictures of all the kids. You have a beautiful family and gratefully all of them are so healthy. I was impressed with the Valentine dinner Nathan.MOM
