Our little Cowboy...

This is going to be short but I had to put it in here for Nana & Grandma Abe. There is this school about a mile away that I take Ethan to everyday after the kids leave for home. He likes to play at the playground with slides & swings etc. We walk down there usually everyday to get some fresh air. There's a little mini farm right next to it with some land and a few horses. Ethan usually spends more time looking at the horses and trying to talk to them than exploring the playground, ha ha.
Yesterday there were a few kids who I'm assuming live there playing in their backyard and talking to and feeding the horses. They were about 30 ft away and Ethan kept yelling, "Hey horsie, hey what are you doing?" "Hey horsie, come here." (as if the horse would obey his command : ) So one of the little boys saw Ethan and climbed over and grabbed the horses mane and brought him to Ethan. I knew Ethan liked the horse from a distance but I didn't know if he would get scared up close. So over comes the horse and boy and right as they walk up Ethan yells really loud "NAY HORSIE" And of course the horse replied to Ethan with a very loud "NAY and a loud snort" (it kind of startled me) I thought Ethan would jump and start crying, I would have if I was little, but not our little cowboy. He asked me to pick him up so he cold get a closer look, ha ha. He tried to reach for the horse but the gate got in the way.....good thing too. Ha ha I got a good laugh out of that. Nothing scares that boy. You'd think that Nathan's been training him but no, it just comes natural to him. He is rarely scared or nervous about things......which I wish he was a little more sometimes it's not so good to be so brave :)
So I guess we have a little cowboy in the making.......

Did you know that my Dad was a horseman? He loved them better than people I think. So, Ethan and his Great-Grandfather Brown can talk "horsie" someday. I loved reading the story you posted.

Oh my goodness! I can't believe how big Ethan is getting. It seems like he grew so much since the last time we saw him, and now he's talking a lot too! I hope I can see you guys soon! Gimme a call! :)
