A new year.....

Hello all. I haven't worked on my blog since last November. It's been a busy year for us, as everyone knows. I am hoping to eventually be up to date on it, but that will probably take some time- but for now........I'll start here.

To sum things up for now-
We moved to Texas back in May of '10. Nathan graduated and then we moved back home. Nathan had a job lined up with Chase bank and things were looking good. We decided to live with my parents until we knew exactly what city Nathan would be working in. So we camped out at the Carvers for about......9 months. We loved it but we were ready for our own place. We were so happy to find out that Mansfield is where Nathan would be working. We found a house and moved in last January and have been absolutely loving it. If I had one place I could have wished to live in Texas it would be here. It's a wonderful place. We are close to Fort Worth and Arlington. Close to family......but not TOO close ;). There are so many things close by too. Lots of shopping, restaurants and Mansfield has there own nice, BIG water park. Just to name a few things we love. My favorite thing is the ward that we attend. We have been in about 7 different wards in our time in Utah and this one here in Mansfield has been my favorite, hand down.

We love our cute little house. It was quite the journey in finding it, but I will save that story for another post ;) Another highlight that I love is my dad's "Tom Thumb" store is literally down the street. We drive down the street every week to say hello and get a free cookie. The kids have been loving it. Speaking of things down the street.......Nathan's branch is within walking distance. We've actually walked down there a couple of times. We feel so blessed to be where we are. We are so grateful to all of the wonderful people that we have met and who have welcomed us in.

I have taken lots of pictures of our house as we moved and as we've settled in. However I took these months ago. I really need to update them but until I do I will post some pictures so everyone can get an idea.

Like I said earlier I'm trying to re-commit to blogging. Eventually I will get to what we've been up to since moving back to Texas. New Year's resolutions right?? We have had some exciting, fun times since moving back and I want to make sure I get the chance to share them all. Until then: here we are- buying our first home :)
