Proud to be awesome....
Here's my brother, Jeffrey. This post is dedicated to him. He left for his mission and has been out a little over 6 weeks. (
I'm clearly still having a hard time getting to my blog and posting. We are still living out of my mom and dad's house .... Hopefully things will change for us soon, but that's a whole other post.)
Anyway back to Jeffrey. This is my youngest brother. The last one to serve a mission. We made sure to get as much Jeffrey play time as we could before he left. He is serving in Mexico City, Mexico. I know, I know, anyone who is reading this please keep him in your prayers.
Nevertheless, here he is, and proud to be awesome!

Here's just some fun pictures of good times of our last moments with Jeffrey.
This is his 19th birthday party, with the fam.

Here's his biggest fan. As you can see by the matching hair, Ethan has been his shadow since we've moved to Texas.

Sisters

Here's Jeffrey and Caity. Most of the pictures they have together since childhood usually look like this. Jeffrey grinning away and Caitlin looking like she's irritated with something Jeff just did ;)

Ice cream outing

Jeffrey & Presley

The whole gang

My brother the character. Believe it or not he's been silly like this since childhood, same guy. lol

"It's all about the double nickel"

Hitting the Rangers before he leaves

Jeffrey always made time for the nephews and nieces in his life. And as you can see they LOVE him!

Memories

My brother is such an example to us all. His last days before his actual mission he was already a stripling warrior. This is a friend of his from work. He was saying good bye before he left and he made sure to bear his testimony to him and hook him up with a Book of Mormon. What a great guy!

And of course his last moments as a "free man" he went fishing, his favorite thing to do.

He actually got Nathan pretty hooked on it.

Better believe the night before he left, things still not packed, it was already late no problem he, Nathan and the Bishop made a quick trip out to go fishing.

Success

Nathan was so happy to be able to get a little male bonding time in with Jeffrey before he left. I'm going to let you guess what kind of smell they brought into the kitchen looking like this.

Good thing I love these guys so much.

And off to the packing.

A lot of packing

lots of white shirts

Before...

After

Yup better believe we were up late. My mom had already picked up a red-eye flight the day before so it was up to me to make sure Jeffrey had everything he needed. So after his adventures with fishing we began to pack. So we were up til' about 330 and then back up again at around.......5 o clock!!! Oh yes, A.M. But I wouldn't have had it any other way. I loved my last hours with Jeffrey. It was late, we were both tired and everything was hilarious, as things usually are with him anyway. Good times.

My sweet sister Caitlin prepared these awesome posters dedicated to Jeffrey, including a couple of his catch phrases.

Pretty tired~

And we're up very early...........too early as you can see Shelby

We meet up with the cousins

Maybe it was good we were all so tired it was easier to say good bye.

Shelby being Link's mommy as usual. Cute girl

Not sure they knew exactly what was going on.

One more goodbye from the sisters......(better believe there were tears)

Elder Carver and the future missionaries- Carver, Linkin & Ethan ( who wasn't too happy about saying bye to his uncle Jeffrey)

Lovely ladies- Els & Av

Here they are all of them- Kaydree, Elsie, Ava & Carver ( Carrie's ) Ethan, Linkin & Shelby (Nikki's)

Here he is ready to go.
I've never seen or met a better prepared guy! He really IS a fearless heart. Ready to take on the world- well Mexico City at least. Pumped up, full of the spirit, full of confidence and ready to work.

Called to serve

Going.....

Going...

Gone!

We love you Jeffrey.

He is such a handsome missionary! He will be a great example to the people he teaches. I just can't believe he is old enough to be serving a mission. I loved seeing all the pictures of him. He's lucky to have such an awesome family sending him off.
Congrats to your brother! I'm sure he's going to make a great missionary. My brother in law is serving in Mexico City East right now. It would be great if they ever met up.
