A Special Friday the 13th

Today is a special Friday the 13.....it's Nathan's b-day!!!!!!!!!


HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATHAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Nathan told me that he was also born on Friday the 13....pretty interesting....especially considering his birth story. If any of you know Nathan this shouldn't come as a surprise ;) He was born on Friday the 13th and apparently he was born with placenta previa. His mom told me the story of his birth and wow, doesn't suprise me one bit. He shouldn't have made it, she shouldn't have made it and the whole birth his dad had to wait in the hall b/c of the emergency circumstance so I can't imagine being him either. Little Nathan's heart rate was not looking good not to mention the umbilical cord is wrapped around his neck. But as soon as he was out everything went back to normal and he bounced back no problem. So even a dare-devil at birth. I guess I should have been a little worried when I first heard that story....and then followed by many more that just proved to me that this was a thrill loving kind of guy. I've heard stories from him growing up that back it up even more, just to mention really quick on this one occasion he was driving a 3000 GT and I don't really know the details there but apparently when the police showed up at the accident they asked, " Ok where are the bodies " and I saw the pictures......I don't know how that boy lived let a lone walked away with only scrathes and bruises. So I married a little Evil Knievel and even though 6 years ago he almost lost his life yet again in that horrible motorcycle accident you'd think he'd learn........NOPE he's ready for more. I guess that's why I love him....one of the many reasons.

We are so happy today to celebrate his birthday. I feel so lucky to have such a wonderful man in my life. He is an incredible father and husband. I've never known anyone in my life that has been thrown such adversity yet still keeps on going. (not to get all corny, but hey it's his birthday, I've got to) What an amazing man Nathan is. He works full time and has school full time and a family full time not to mention any church callings....I couldn't do it and I don't know many men who do actually. We are so happy to have this day to celebrate Nathan.

Ethan helped me make this little slide show for his daddy. We're trying to meet a goal right now of getting school loans etc. paid off so we are trying to budget ourselves including birthdays so this is one of our presents for him this year a little slide show....with help from Ethan & Shelby.
