First we went to the American Fork carnival, lots of fun. The kids loved it. I was so surprised how brave Ethan was, he wanted to ride on every ride practically. There was this one in particular that stands out. It was the "dragon ride" scary I'm sure you can imagine. It wasn't a little toddler ride, it was a grown up ride for sure but he really wanted to ride on it. SOOOO we waited in line and Mr. grown up Ethan loads the ride all by himself. I've always tried not to baby Ethan b/c he is a boy and I know it would bug Nathan if I did but sometimes I worry that we made him too tough for his own good. He'll hurt himself like little kids do all the time but the boy NEVER cries. We'll say, "Oh no Ethan you ok buddy?" and he'll shut us up really quick, "I'm ok, I'm ok" like I'm not weak, I'm a man. Sometimes I wish he would, b/c he hides it and sometimes that's not always good. ANYWAY so he loads the ride all by himself and gets in his own cart. There was a little girl in the cart in front of him who was about 8 years old and then right before the controller started the ride she started whining saying she needed someone to ride with her so the controller grabbed Ethan and put him in the front with her. (baby) So my tough guy (2years old) is in the front protecting his damsel. Unfortunately the pictures didn't turn out from this ride....too bad too he was so cute. Every time the ride came around he just gave me a thumbs up, as everyone else is screaming. What a cool guy !!!!
Here's some other of our fun pictures we took :
Our two loaded up in the stroller-
E-tom on one of the rides-
This was a craft section with lots of little crafts for children. Ethan decided he wanted to make some masks for he and Shelby. He's a creative boy.
A little help from Mommy & Daddy-
All ready to go!
And Miss Shelbel
This particular part Daddy & Ethan especially loved- Cool army stuff
Woah watch out for Nathan...
Ever seen "Back to the Future"....(had to get a shot of this) One of my families favorite movies growing up (the 80's ha ha) I know my brother Bryan on the mission in Mexico would especially laugh at this shot- "Great Scott!"
Look at those cute guys :)
Bye bye.......
(more posting to come for catch up)

WOW, I didn't recognize Shelby in that top picture...Ethan is getting so big too! I asked Kaydree who it was and she shrugged her shoulders and said, "Mavery???" She is such a beauty, and are her eyes blue or hazel? So pretty. Glad you're blogging again!
Glad to see these cute pictures and read about daring Ethan. You all look so cute together on your outing.
Thanks Carrie, yeah her eyes look kind of blue but they are definitely hazel-brown/green. I asked a couple of ladies in my ward what they thought and they said her eyes are "clearly like her mother's. " I think b/c they are next to Ethan's chocolate browns they might look bluish in the pic.
one point twenty one gigawatts!! I love back to the future!
Yes- for your comment above, I definitely think Shelby's eyes have a lot of green in them. so cute.
