So the other day Nathan and I were getting tired and we were ready to put Ethan to bed. It was getting late and of course that's when he gets all of his energy, how that happens I'll never know. So Nathan and I kept saying to Ethan, "it's getting late Ethan", "are you tired Ethan?", "it's time for bed". He was just walking around playing, ignoring us of course and then he stopped looked straight up at us and said very confidently and very matter of factly, "No, I'm not tired". Keep in mind we were use to Ethan saying an occasional "hi", "bye", "mommy", "daddy", and on a good day, "love ya". Then he busts out with this sentence. Nathan and I both shocked looked at each other and said, "did you hear that?". We thought it was so cute and Ethan loved the attention so he continued to say it. Now everyday since then he'll throw that out to us waiting for his praise, even in the middle of the day, "No, I'm not tired", and then he'll giggle. It's amazing how cute they are, and they know it too!
