Shelby Nicole Abraham

We were so happy to welcome our families to our house to have Shelby's blessing. Because everyone was here for Christmas we invited the bishop over to our house and were able to have her blessing there. It was wonderful to have family there with a sweet spirit to welcome Shelby.

We have had such a busy month. First Shelby's arrival and then Christmas with both families.....lots of people here and of course lots of good times. We have taken so many pictures and have had so many good memories made I'm going to do my best to post all. (I just need to find some time to dedicate to the blogging.) So it might take some time BUT I'll get there.....so

I'll start with some pics with the Abraham family. All of Nathan's brothers & sisters were here in Utah for X-mas, except for Jared & family, who we missed so much : ( We love y'all & missed you.


Ethan loved spending time with cousins, cousins, cousins! Here's Caleb, Wyatt & Zane, Ethan had so much fun having some boy bonding time with Michelle's boys. (Nathan's sister)









Here's a few pics of us enjoying Christy (Nathan's sister) new Christmas present. It was sort of a dance off!!! Lots of fun, Nathan can dance.... despite what he'll say, he's got skills.

We really enjoyed having the family here. Ethan had such a blast having his Grandma and Grandpa around to play around in the snow.

More Shelby Nicole....

We have LOVED having our little girl.....Shelby Nicole ! She is such a little sweetheart. Her jaundice was pretty bad so they sent us home with some lights to help : ( Poor thing it's like a mini tanning bed. However she has "graduated" from the lights.....which we are so happy about, we get to hold her all the time now. You just never get tired of cuddling with her. She is such a calm sweet baby, just like Ethan was. Ethan has been doing a great job of being a big brother. He is so soft and sweet with her. He's been so helpful taking care of her and he knows to be really gentle.....he knows he's the "big brother" and protector of her, he's always looking out for her.

This post is just going to be short, we're so busy getting things together for x-mas and family coming in and finals (for Nathan). I had to make sure I put on some more pictures for Grandparents!! We're so excited to introduce her to everyone this Christmas.

That's all we have so far, we'll post more as they come.

Nicole did a GREAT job. She is AMAZING. I couldn't survive child birth so I am very proud of her. They started inducing her at 4:00 this morning and she didn't progress much until about 9:00 when the doc broke her water. As soon as her water broke her body was ready to get this over with so she started having very painful contractions. She eventually got her epidural, and by 11:00 she was done. Ethan still hasn't met his little sister (we're on our way back to the hospital as soon as I finish this post) but I'm sure he will soon love having her around.
